Yeah, it's really tough to get shading right. Believe me, I know.
You just need to keep in mind the direction the light is coming from. In her case, the light's coming in from the left so there doesn't need to be shading to the left of her upper arm on the lower left arm (notice how there's no shading on her upper left hand to the left of her upper right arm.)
Also, try turning the saturation of the shadow color all the way up. Otherwise, the shading ends up looking grey instead of having a nice saturated tone. If you look at some of my older stuff (especially at my Yahoo group), you'll see a lot of grey shading (bleah.)
I also struggled with adding too much shading (not the case here, just FYI.) When you really get going, it's hard to know when to stop. Sometimes it takes stepping away from the piece for an hour or so and coming back to it. You'll really notice what's out of sorts then.
Still, I can't begin to tell you how gorgeous she looks.
